As part of the Flemish Forest Week, we invite all children (and families with children) to take part in a brand-new and adventurous treasure hunt. Starting Wednesday, October 8, this free adventure will be available at our Inspiration Point.
How it works
During a walk of about 2 kilometers through the forests surrounding the Inspiration Point, children are drawn into the “Mystery of the Forest Chronicles.” Along the way, they’ll encounter exciting challenges: from solving riddles to fun, hands-on tasks that encourage them to move, explore, and experience the forest in a whole new way. Together, families discover just how rich and surprising the forest can be.
Anyone who completes all the challenges successfully will receive a special reward upon returning to the Inspiration Point.

With this treasure hunt, Natuurgrenspark De Groote Heide wants children and their families not only to get to know nature, but to fully immerse themselves in the enchanting world of the forest. The Inspiration Point, which tells the story of the cross-border park, is the perfect starting point.
