At Schoorsveld natural burial ground, we are restoring the original natural environment, in keeping with the nature of the region, such as the Strabrechtse Heide and the area around the Sterkselse Aa. This will allow the cultural-historical landscape of Schoorsveld to flourish once again. This piece of Brabant nature has become a cherished place for many people. It is a nature reserve that is home to many animals and plants and where nature is given the space to develop further.

Rolling up our sleeves together

During the nature work day, we would love to roll up our sleeves and work together with you. Everyone is welcome to come and help. In fact, we would love to have you! We will welcome you in the morning with coffee and tea. The nature manager will explain what nature management at Schoorsveld entails, and then we will get to work together in nature. This ranges from light work to medium-heavy work to heavier work.

The nature managers will take you into the area to work in groups. All the necessary tools are provided. Do you have your own work gloves? Feel free to bring them along.

Of course, we will provide coffee or tea during the break. At the end of the morning, after all the hard work, we will finish with a group lunch. In between, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet people and share stories.
