In this joint presentation by local guides Ton Soons and Fred Guitjens, Heeze residents who have made history in our village or far beyond it will be highlighted.
Some stood out locally as colorful “paradise birds,” while others are known for their remarkable careers or achievements.
Among those discussed are:
Bert Buijssen, Professor Hendrik Casimir, Trien Engelen, Gradus Hansen, Dirk Hezius, Toon Heerings, Lowie van den Heuvel, P. J. Groen van Prinsterer, Nico Thijs, Doortje van den Konijnenberg, Samuel John Baron Van Tuyll van Serooskerken, and Paul Weemering.
This is a lecture in which you will be surprised again and again. It is further enriched with unique visual material and surprising musical excerpts.
